The Worlds First Wireless Evoked Potential System. Three Unique Features Including; Wireless Blue Tooth Technology, In-Situ Pre-Amp (Amplitrode) Directly on the patients skin, and the patented Kalman Filter yeilds more accurate results, quicker then any
What is Integrity? and its applications?
Integrity? is the world-first wireless AEP and OAE system. It combines the VivoLink?, Amplitrode?, Probe, insert earphones, bone conductor, test-control and database software into a complete AEP and OAE diagnostic tool. It employs Bluetooth® communications and allows for recording of AEPs and OAEs in any combination of DPOAE, TEOAE, ABR, or ASSR.
These tests are reimbursable through the following CPT Codes:
92585 - Auditory evoked potentials for evoked response audiometry. 92586 - Limited auditory evoked potentials. 92587 - Evoked otoacoustic emissions; limited. 92588 - Evoked otoacoustic emissions, comprehensive or diagnostic evaluation.
How can Integrity? help you perform electro-physiological tests?
Testing with Integrity can be performed anywhere within the reach of Bluetooth®, including situations where cabled instruments cannot be used at all.
What is VivoLink?
VivoLink? is the world-first Wireless Interface Module for auditory electro-physiology.
It is operated by a microprocessor, powered by batteries, and controlled from a remote computer through Bluetooth®, a wireless communications protocol that enables computers and other digital devices to communicate via broad radio-frequency band.
VivoLink? works with standard audiometric transducers: two ER-3A insert phones and a BC-71 bone conductor. It conducts OAEs with Vivosonic's well-known easy-to-clean Probe, and Evoked AEPs with the Amplitrode?, the world-first in-situ EP pre-amplifier.
VivoLink? can be placed on the adult's chest and secured with a lanyard, or placed next to a baby or be held by the baby's caregiver. The caregiver can carry the VivoLink?, move around, comfort, and lull the baby without the need to disconnect any electrodes, connectors, or transducers. This makes testing comfortable and easy for both the patient and the clinician.
What is Amplitrode??
A novel approach to solving the problem of noise is in-situ amplification, i.e. at the AEP source. Amplitrode? is the world-first in-situ AEP pre-amplifier mounted directly on the ground electrode pad. It amplifies and filters AEP signals, reduces physiological and electro-magnetic noises, improving the ability of the ABR/ASSR device to record the proper signal, and thus resulting in improved accuracy in noisy environments and faster ABR/ASSR testing times.
Removing the cable from the system and mounting the pre-amplifier in-situ reduces electromagnetic noise pick-up and test time, depending on background noise in the testing area outside a shielded room. Of course, in an ideally shielded room, such noise reduction may be minimal
